FMA fanart -- does that make me a full-fledged FMA fangirl now?

wow, i can't believe it's been almost a month since my last drawing -__-;
anyway, two drawings for today (at least i didn't drag my scanner home for nothing!)




ponytail!ed > braid!ed (makes him look older and all that ;))
that gnarled thingie behind him? it's supposed to be a big tree. :D;





every once in a while, i have this urge to use watercolours. i don't know why, really. and then, after the drawing, i wouldn't touch watercolours for months. XD;


out of curiousity, what's the difference between watercolour and tempera? is it just the consistancy of the paint? or is there a difference in the paint base?

Yeah, I always have trouble keeping the colours from bleeding together. I'm too lazy/impatient to wait for them to dry. ^^; I have a how-to watercolour book, but I've never read it... :\
